Presidents Day

Presidents Day is on February 20. Back then February wasn’t important but Lincoln’s birthday is on February 12 and Washington’s is on February 22. It was first celebrated on the year 1885. The holiday became more popular after it was moved as part of 1971.Presidents day is the day of honor all because of Washington and Lincoln. Now president’s day is celebrated for all the past U.S presidents.The way you can show honor and respect is by having a flag outside your house, having a small president's day get together at your house with your family.
