This quote by Mr.Haymore is saying you will have a good life ahead of you. You will do all the right things you whole life because that’s what you’re supposed to be doing anyway. You’re supposed to have a mindset of always doing the right thing because you’re never going to get anywhere if you always do the wrong thing. If you have a mindset like that you’re going to go downhill because you’re always doing the wrong things and you might think you will never get caught but they’ll be a day where you will and that is where the regret comes in and life isn’t about doing something and you end up regretting it. Might as well have a mindset of always doing the right thing because life is too short for you to live it up for doing the wrong and have regret.

Class Evaluation

     What I liked about this class was we got to learn all these new type of medical jobs and got to research on what they do, how much they make, and how you can become one. What I also liked was that we got to learn how to code. I learned how to type faster than I did when I first came to this class. I liked how we had a journal to keep our goals or write goals because I think that’s what kept me in place on to reaching my goals.I liked how we would do the student success statements and learn new things on what people around the state would do and why they would do it. I learned how to be a better ctr person because of this class. Another thing I liked was there really wouldn’t be homework assigned.

    What I didn’t like about this class was that we never really did anything new, it would be kind of the same thing everyday. Another thing is that the keyboards will sometimes come off when I would type. Other than that I liked this class.

      I think what you should do next year for the upcoming freshmens is have them do more things. Something that is fun but educational. Another thing I would recommend to the new classes is having more projects.

     I think a highlight for me in this class was that I got to learned how to type faster. I learned new things about the medical field.

      I actually did try in this class because when we got assigned homework I would try to keep up. I would actually do the research when we had to look up a certain job. I would also really think about the student success statements and try to put in words on what was on my mind. I tried my best on the projects.
      I do look at my journal to see what I have to do or what goals to achieve before it’s too late and I am committed into being a ctr person.

Photography

I chosed this top because I’m into taking pictures of things I think are worth showing off for. I’ve always been the type to take pictures or do drawings or paintings. It’s something that i’ll always like and the reason that is, is because I think it’s a fun thing to do. Doing photography is something you can do anywhere at anytime. You can look at a certain thing on the streets that’s just there and everyone passes by it everyday and you can take a picture of it and make something beautiful or rare out of it. You can do many things and go many places and maybe find something you want to see forever and you could just take a picture of it.

In life as you get older the one thing you should always have is a goal. The reason that is, is because when you’re older and you’re responsible for your own actions and what you do in life no ones is going to be there to hold your hand. You have to learn how to do things on your own and the way you can learn is by having goals set for yourself and be ready to reach them. Having goals can lead to where you’re going to be in life as you get older. While having a set of goals aside of that you should always know to do the right things because if you really want to reach those goals you’ll have to do the right things so you can end up reaching those goals. Having goals and not doing the right things can get you off track on reaching them and can having lack of focusing on those goals because you’ve made those bad choices and now you have all these problems you have to deal with because you did the wrong thing and it will stop you from reaching those goals. So it’s always better to do the right thing and have a set of goals.

Memorial Day Weekend

On Saturday I had went with my mom to go shop at different stores in Cerritos. After we had went with my grandma to go eat at this new place and they food there was good. Then when we got home we were watching scary movies because my mom & I love scary movies, we watched like 2 of them. After I went to a party, it was lots of fun. Then on Sunday I went to go see the hall that I’m going to have for my 16. My grandma and me also went to go where they’re going to make my dress. Then we had went to go visit my grandma’s brother. I had gotten in the pool. Then on the actual memorial day I stayed home to catch up on school work then later on that day I was practicing my driving because I’m learning how to drive before I turn 16 this year.

It’s important to forgive people because life is too short. People don’t realize how important is is to forgive because in that point their mind set is all on being angry and bitter. Sometimes those people have a reason to be that way but it’s never going to be better if you don’t forgive the person who hurt you so bad that all you could be or feel is bitterness. Forgiveness is a big step on some situations, sometimes those who’ve been hurt could never forgive. It’s bad because maybe those who hurt you didn’t want to hurt you or didn’t mean to hurt you but somehow they did and you don’t know how to cooperate with that feeling where you don’t know if you should forgive them or not, but you have to. The reason why you have to is because things aren’t going to be better by you just being mad at them, if you want to get it out of the way, if you don’t want to think about what they did then all you have to do is forgive.

When it comes to situations where you feel like you’re being forced into something, that’s where you rather be alone. Most of the time when people get into trouble it’s because they’re with a group that is always causing trouble. You might think being alone isn’t fun but it’s really all you need to get by, is yourself. You rather be alone than having to get into all this trouble. In my opinion standing alone is better not only for you but your future self. That way you can get good grades, graduate high school and go to college. Most of the time your ‘friends’ aren’t actually your friends, they don’t care about your education nor your future, so standing alone is better.

Physical Therapist

Duties and Responsibilities: Physical therapist are highly-educated healthcare professionals. What they do is they help patients reduce pain and improve or restore mobility. Physical therapist don’t use surgery but they often reduce the need for long-term use of prescription medications and their side effects.

Salary: Average $85,000

Education: To become a physical therapist you need a graduate degree from an accredited physical therapist program. That program will follow up into taking an exam.

Need for this profession: 36% growth from 2012-2022.

If you have goals and you really want to reach those goals, this quote explains why you should do it and how. The only way you can actually reach your goals if you actually do the right things all the time because if you do the right things all the time then you won’t have no problems in your way, you won’t have to deal with anything because you did the right thing. People always say they have goals and what they want to do when they reach that goal but they never say what they’re going to do and how they’re going to do it while reaching that goal. In my opinion the only way you can really reach your goals if you always do the right things and if you always keep up on what you have to do. If you do that then you’ll be good because you won’t have nothing blocking your way of you reaching that goal.

Plant Scientist

Duties and Responsibilities:What plant scientist do is they organize plants, harvesting and other agronomic operations in the field or greenhouse. They perform tasks and experiments, they maintain inventory stocks of necessary breeding lines. What they also do is look for ways to improve crop yield with less labor, and also control pests.

Salary:Average amount $66,870

Education: To become a plant scientist is you need the performing in fieldwork and research to discover ways to improve crop quality and increase crop quantity.

Demand for this particular career: It’s about 40% of increase the last year.

These tips that Phillip gave us is important because these are the kind of things you should actually be doing. It’s best for you because if you follow this tips then you’ll end up going on the right path. People don’t always think of the consequences when they do something, they just do it thinking they’ll get away with it. If you’re like those people then you’re not going into the right path. In my opinion I think #4 is the most important one because it’s important on how you treat others, if you’re working really hard for something or on something and it isn’t going your way because on how you treat others. All that hard work won’t matter because it just doesn’t feel right knowing that you treat others wrong but you still trying to get your way. For example it’s like stealing money, if you still money then it won’t matter how much is it or where it came from, no matter what it won’t feel right because you took something that wasn’t yours.

What this quote applies is it is always good to be a good/right person because if you’re a person with great value then that means you’re good at making the right choices. It’s never right to do the wrong things. You would rather be truthful and with good choice making rather than doing the wrong. If you’re the type of person to not have value then you might end up having problems or might end up getting into so bad of a problem you might never be able to get out of. Another reason why it’s good to have good value is because if you have good value then you’ll have happiness. You’ll have trust and love from your family and friends because they trust you.

What this quote applies is no matter what situation you’re in, always do the right thing because if you do right, good things will come back to you. No matter what the problem is always do the right thing because if your conscience is always telling you do the right thing, then you’re a good person. You’re on the path of ctr, but if you have to think about it twice and kind of stay stuck on making a choice weather if it’s good or bad, then your conscience is not where it’s supposed to be. You always got to the do right thing, that’s how life is supposed to work. People don’t always think the right when they’re making a decision between the right and wrong. Most of the time people choose the wrong thing and they end up in a situation where they can’t get out of and end up with bad consequences, sometimes if they don’t get caught they never really learn from that choice that they made or it ends up going back to them and eventually they end up getting caught at the wrong place, at the wrong time.

When you do the wrong thing you don’t gain anything, all you ever gain is guilt and people not trusting you anymore. It’s better to do the opposite and always stick to doing the right thing. If you do the right thing you will end up gaining something and the thing you will gain is people trusting you, feeling good about yourself, not having guilt and etc. People don’t always think of the consequences when they’re going to do something bad. They just think of the fun that comes along when doing that bad thing or they just do it becomes they want to. It’s just better to be that type of person where all you ever do is the right thing because you won’t have any problems, you’ll have no guilt and you’ll be free. So might as well always do the right thing instead of doing the wrong thing.

What Pam means is that it’s better to do the right thing at the right moment because by you doing that you become a greater person. For example, if you win something and then you realize it was a mistake, and you owe up to that mistake you might of gotten your price taken away but at least you were honest and truthful to yourself and the other people that were part of the game. People don’t realize how good it will make you seem when you’re honest about something that isn’t true, even if you lose something, you gain something and that is trust for yourself and from others.

What Karl is saying is that he rather live on good than live on bad. He’s saying if I’m behind prison walls there will be a way out, a way out of that badness. Saying there is hope to get out of that prison wall. It’s better to be around or in a place where you’re not locked up or in the middle of something that you know it’s not right rather than being in a place with no freedom because of the choices you made. I think that’s what people don’t think about when they make bad choices, they just think about the fun that they’re going to have but not about the consequences and I think that’s what people don’t realize that it’s better to know your place rather than having people or bad choices control you.

The 10 Indian Commandments

The 10 Indian commandments are a good way of showing or telling you how you should really be. If you follow or do at least 3 or 4 of those commandments a day you’re doing the right thing. These commandments show you how you should really be. The way I relate to them is I always try to have a good mind of set of things, I always try to find the good in someone or something bad. The way I follow or do these 10 commandments is that I when I’m in a situation where I have 2 options but I don’t know what to pick, I try looking at which one is the best/good choice for me and I pick the choice where I know I won’t get in trouble.

Having investments is usually sometimes the investments fail but the only one that never does is good. Being a good person and doing the right/good thing is good. If you have goodness and treat people with it, it’ll come back around to you. But having all these investments and they’re not good don’t bother using them or trying them out because if you do something bad there will always be consequences. For example, if you help out anyone with anything or use it during school, you’re doing a good thing that means you have a good investment.

Doing the right things or making the right choices gives you a good look on yourself. If you’re the type of person where all you do is right and you don’t do them because you “have” to but you do them because you want to makes you like a good person, you make the right choices because that’s just how you are. People don’t always follow by the rules, but if you’re the type of person that does you’ll have that good making decisions for the rest of your life. If your principle is all about doing the right things then you shouldn’t worry about yourself, because no matter what situation you’re in you know you’ll follow by your principal.

Optometry Technician

Duties and responsibilities: Optometric technicians work with optometrists to assist in carrying out eye examinations and treatments. They mostly work in optometrists’ offices, but they may also be in eye care clinics and other vision treatment facilities. They also look over your medical history on what last treatment you got. The responsibilities you have as a optometric technician is testing patient’s visual acuity, depth perception, pressure inside of the eye, color vision, and pupil reflexes. They also prepare exam schedules, ready exam rooms, assist in making or repairing eyeglasses.

Salary: Median pay $30,590

Education: High school diploma required, training programs and associate degrees available

Need for this profession: Over the years the job has increased 23% for medical assistants from 2014-2024.

Spring break

On spring break I had lots of fun. I went hiking with my cousins and my aunt, we went to Pallo Verdes to hike. Then we went to the beach after because where we went hiking it was close to the beach after. My cousin had her camera and we decided to take pictures of the ocean and the other views we saw. Some other day i would stay home to work on my homework. Then on friday i went to go dye my hair and cut it. On Saturday, my friends and I took an adventure to downtown L.A then to the beach. In downtown L.A we walked around, we went to stores and checked out what they had. After we went on the metro to the beach on our way there we stopped by the 711 to get snacks, after that we went to the beach and enjoyed the water. When we came back we got ready to go to a 15. Then yesterday I went to my aunt’s new house and we spent easter there. My aunt has a pool so we took extra clothes to get in and after they had made food then we ate. After we hid the eggs from my little cousins and after they did the egg hunt and it was a lot of fun overall.

People always think that being a mean or rude person matters what but what really matters is how you are. You have to understand that things aren’t always going to go your way. For example, if you are a player in a basketball team and you get benched and you think about how getting mad isn’t worth it and you learn how to accept it, that is when your true character comes out and you know you did the right thing than doing the wrong thing because you were upset. Even throughout life you have to learn how to be a good character and choose the right choices because if you end up making a bad choice then you’ll have consequences to face.

Optometrist

Duties and responsibilities: A optometrist who specializes in eye and vision care. What they do is they do sight testing and correction to the diagnosis, treatment, and management of vision changes. Optometrist is not a medical doctor, they receive a doctor of optometry degree after completing four years.

Salary: $116,562 (range $103,207-$129,159)

Education: In order to become an optometrist you’ll need to finish high school. Have a bachelor’s degree, then go into a college complete four years. After go into programs having to do with the studies of optometrist.

Need for this profession: The percent went up by 15%.

If you think cheating will do any good then you are wrong, cheating is something wrong and if you still do It and you know it's wrong then you will have this guilt that you will have forever. Cheating on anything is wrong, you think it doesn't affect you because it's your own mind or body but if you really think about it cheating also affects the people around you. It can cause for someone else to do it, it can cause someone to end up hurt, it can cause someone to lose trust in you, it can cause not you learning anything. It's better to be a person who doesn't cheat at all and sticks to their honesty.

If you cheat your way into winning something, you actually didn't win fair. It's better not to cheat because if you cheat and you knew it was wrong you're going to have guilt and that guilt can stick with you forever. For example if you are having an exam on one of your classes and it's really important, you end up cheating and you get a good grade, you'll start to have guilt because you knew it was wrong and you still did it. So you might as well not cheat at all because if you cheat you will have problems to deal with later and you don't want that.

If you are a person with a good character then you are a good person who never does anything wrong and always does the right. If you are those type of people who have a bad character then people are not going to trust you with anything. It's not your words that count it's the actions and how you really are inside matters.  

St. Patrick's day 

 

St Patrick's Day is a global celebration of Irish culture around March 17. The colors of this day are green and gold. On this day if your weren't wearing green you would get pinched because when St Patrick's was being made supposedly if a fairy saw you not wearing green they would pinch you. This day is known for as the patron saint of Ireland. He was born Irish but somehow, some way he became important part of the Irish heritage. In this day there is also a clover called a shamrock and it's used as a symbol of this day.
