Veterans day is a holiday celebrated for the end of World War 1 , we celebrate it on November 11 because that’s when we won the war. The purpose of Veterans day is to show our respect to those who fought and to those who lost their lives. The ways you can show honor is

• Fly a flag at your work or house
• Support the military now
• Celebrate at a restaurant
• Have a cook out at your house
• Show or tell other people what Veterans Day is

When I think of Veterans Day I think of all those whose fought and who have lost their lives fighting. It shows how much the military has done just for us to be safe. I do have a lot of respect towards Veterans and it’s something that will be celebrated forever.
