Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving all started in 1863 celebrating the army victory at Gettysburg. The official date of thanksgiving is on November 26,1863 as to Abraham Lincoln recalled. It’s usually celebrating the victory that happened and it was on Nov 26. They also had the Native Americans with them because around that time that’s when the Native Americans came around and helped them win the war and they all celebrated thanksgiving together.  Thanksgiving is a day to be thankful for what you got and to be with your family. Thanksgiving is a holiday where you get together with your whole family and have a big feast of food. When on thanksgiving day you spend time with your family and catch up on what’s been going on and just have a great time.
